A&NZEHN member Dr Justine Philip has two new blogs posted on the Smithsonian Institutional archives website:

International Travels of the Australian Canis Dingo: Part I

International Travels of the Australian Canis Dingo: Part II

The posts provide a fascinating snapshot of Justine’s research, undertaken while a fellow at the Smithsonian Institution Archives, on “Representing the Dingo. An Examination of Dingo–Human Encounters in Australian Cultural and Environmental Heritage.” As the titles suggest, the focus is on dingoes in zoos, private collections and museum records in the USA.
